Welcome to our April Game. This is our first update. I know I'm lazy and its tax time... Now riddle me this: if you take your long term cap gains from Schedule D and plop em into your 1040... how do your get your cap gains (20%) treated any different from your trading income????
               Ans: In the alternative cap. gains section of the same form.
 

But enough about taxes except to remember to thank God you live in America and have the luxury of worrying about taxes. How about the shorts in TUNE and MGCX not to mention those in EGRP or AMTD or lowly IAAC??? Well they play and they pay but we got winners here. Big time!!

Now my new hero in KORUPT! He's sitting on 800K after 10 days.. Unreal and all he had to do was play TUNE... which he did from $5 ! Other played it too.. TARA 642 K and she did some TRAC and SIEB. Janie4U holding MGCX from 9 now worth $482K. But my traders award goes out to DROPCO who missed the early take off in TUNE but climbed aboard at $201/2 after it had tripled ( how many of us have the courage to do that). But only had to wait for 25 hours to sell for 53! Now that's a trade. Consider this next idea when confronted with a stock you want to buy but its scary because it's up so much..

Those long term holders of stocks like AMZN or Yahoo or EGRP had to ride though some turbulent waters.. were probably upside down for a long time if not totally underwater... now the stock jumps and you think.. I should have bought it back then.. but I look at it this way.. they had to wait for years to make 80 points in EGRP or AMTD... you buy it when its surging and you may make 80 points in a week if the momentum continues!

4/14 We have a new second place holder  SAMSAK 706K,  who arrived there not by one or two lucky picks but by virually trading everything that wiggled, croaked or barked. 200 plus trades.. ( and you wonder why electronic brokers are going up!)

4/16/99 A funny thing happened on the way to success, mutual funds started dumping techs and InterNUTS and falling all over each other to grap some DuPont and EXXON and CSX the railroad! Gee I've owned those for years and they are really nice QUIET stocks... I give this two more days before they get bored... and come crawling back!

 4/17/99 New Leader Joonan1 739K (all cash), slipped past Korrupt 716K who like all of us is looking for something HOT.
4/19/99 Samsak in the third spot was riding USAB from 15 to 20 when the plight finally got to it, but Joonan1 traded twice without major loss and stands all alone at the top. Just  a  Bad Day at Black Rock for all! Our DYICI index mirrored the Nasdaq almost perfectly. DYICI closed at 888.13 down 150 points on the day.. (Nasdaq -138) but our dyici index is up 211 % Year to date! Better days tomorrow but don't expect an early turn around.. early rally will stall and have to be tested late.. better a late rally ...of course just my opinion..
4/21/99 We got the late rally, but it didn't help our DYICI index recover. Closed yesterday 899.13 up just 11 points thanks to he tanking of CMGI... remember our old quiz.. How many times has CMGI been to $40?
Hope it doesn't happen again. Leaders where are they now...Korrupt???

4/22 Final update this month as travel takes priority. Mr Joonan1 took a one-nighter with INFX (bought at 14 7/8 on the close  and walked away 10:03 this morning 200K richer...now holding 950K cash... any contenders lurking out there? Nice trade Mr J! More Later jgm
