The Boston Tea Party is the Internet home for professional people that really care about what they are doing. Care so much in fact they are willing to base their fees upon a customers ability to pay. That was our only requirement in addition to their professional credentials. Most have full time commitments in their communities and joined us as a way of reaching out to others. Offering off hour counseling or help via email,  phone and individual web sites listing alternative resources perhaps not available in your community.

Should you consider this service?
As a professional you will have the opportunity to reach out beyond your geographical community. In so doing you will build your status locally. Also as counseling via the internet is radically new and a departure from the states quo it allows for more flexible scheduling which many (clients and counselors) have stated they desire. The incremental costs can be less, i.e. no transportation, no expensive office space for example. Everyone can benefit.

You don't have to be a computer expert!
The single biggest misconception of the internet and big business is that you need all kinds of razzle dazzle to impress consumers. We know by experience just the opposite is true. If you can type a letter, spell check it and push the send button on your email program... you are computer literate. Add to that the skill of dialing your client's or counselor's phone number and listening to what they are saying... and you are doing exactly what you would be doing during an office visit. Some find counseling this way is even better, i.e.. fewer interruptions, less pressure, more time to compose thoughts for example.

What does it cost?
$50 per month for your personal web site at The Boston Tea Party. That one simple low price includes Construction, Publishing, Hosting, Maintenance and our domain Promotion. But you can try us for 6 months for just $250 if you join by March 31, 1999.

What professional qualifications need I to join?
A Ph.D. or Masters degree from an accredited institution or the equivalent. Letters of Reference from employers or clients may be published on your web site also. Most professionals offer 800 or 888 toll free numbers to their clients. Charges to clients are based upon phone conferences and other pre-arranged fees.

How do I get started?
Mail to us materials you wish to present to prospective clients and photostats of your credentials and any letters of reference. Please include a statement of  your professional goals and philosophy along with your signed pledge to charge based upon a clients ability to pay. ( We will invoice you our fee along with proofs of your website for your approval.)
