A Point of View Northpoint
is an All Season community of contemporary cedar homes overlooking the
pastoral Canaan Valley.
Our home features vaulted ceilings and windows,
comfortable furniture and beds with double thick mattresses, plus
user/friendly kitchens and spectacular views of the highest valley
east of Denver. Remote
and secluded, Canaan began getting
discovered in 1968 when several large farms were purchased to form Canaan
Valley State Park. Now new Intestates opened the area and its an
easy drive from Cincinnati, Philadelphia or Washington, DC. Canaan
was saved from over development by being proclaimed the 500th Federal
Wildlife Refuge, our newest. The more crowded the other beautiful places
in the world become, the more we love Canaan!
Every season has
a reason. Tennis and pool open to our guests. Mountain Bike
rentals in nearby Davis. Timberline and Canaan Valley ski areas open December
through March. Canaan Valley State Park and Blackwater Falls State Parks
have many nice hiking trails and weekly scheduled outdoor activities. New
restaurants like Siriannis and Sweets Body & Soul Cafe are popular.
Also Noah's Ark Zoo is lot's of fun for kids of all ages.
